Buprenorphine Applications to Hospice Practice: What's the Scoop on Bup?

The use of buprenorphine in hospice care has become more prevalent in recent years and it is important for the hospice physician/medical director to understand when and how to use it. During this session, learners can expect to gain a better understanding of why buprenorphine is being used and not being used in the hospice setting. Learners will also discover the top reasons for use, different prescribing strategies, common misconceptions surrounding buprenorphine use, and how best to use it when caring for patients on end-of-life care.
