HPM FAST Hospice Regulatory 2nd Edition (Reviewed 2022)

This content will support preparation for the Hospice and Palliative Medicine subspecialty certification exam.

  • Discuss the required services of the Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) and roles of IDG members established by the HMB Conditions of Participation.
  • Describe important components of Medicare payment and billing for hospice services, including the payment denial appeals process.

Physicians certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine who wish to earn MOC points within the current calendar year must submit their MOC data no later than December 31 of the calendar year.

CME Physicians certified with the American Board of Pediatrics who wish to earn MOC points within the current calendar year must submit their MOC data no later than December 1 of the calendar year. 

MOC points expire on November 2, 2025.
